Custom Plumbing Labels
Plumbing parts multiply: every material, size and fitting type needs its own bin. Clear labels on every drawer and shelf keep PEX out of the CPVC bin and get you back on the road faster.
Label by material first, then by fitting
Mixed materials cause most restock errors in a plumbing truck. Label the top level by material (PEX, Copper, PVC, CPVC, ABS, Brass) and use the next level for fitting type (Elbows, Tees, Couplings, Unions). A second set of labels for repair parts (Wax Rings, Flappers, Cartridges, Washers, O-Rings, Supply Lines, Shutoffs) covers the service calls that make up most of the day.
Keep your joining supplies together: Solder, Flux, Teflon Tape, Pipe Dope and Crimp Rings in one labeled drawer means you never leave a job because the tape is in the other truck.
Size is the third level. Put it right on the label (1/2 PEX, 3/4 Copper, 1/2 Elbows) so a 1/2 inch tee never lands in the 3/4 bin during a rushed restock. Labels are 34mm tall and up to 243mm wide, so they suit drawer faces and shelf lips; for a small-parts organizer with dozens of cells, label the case by category and let the cells sort themselves.
Tough enough for a messy trade
Our labels are solid 3D-printed parts with a flat top and white lettering printed as its own color, so there is no ink to smear or paper to soak through. Wet hands and splashes are fine; wipe them down with a damp rag or mild cleaner. They are not rated for submersion, so keep them off anything that sits in standing water. On steel truck shelving and metal drawer cabinets, the exposed N52 magnets hold firm and let you rearrange whenever you change suppliers or stock.
For plastic fitting organizers, aluminum shelving and bin fronts, choose the 3M VHB adhesive backing in the builder. Mind the heat: the labels are PLA and soften around 55 to 60C, so mount them away from where you set down a torch or freshly sweated copper, and keep them off the dashboard.
Color-code by material
Plumbers often already think in colors: red and blue PEX, white PVC, cream CPVC. Use Workshop Red and Cobalt Blue labels to separate hot and cold PEX stock, and Heritage Black for everything else. Each order prints in one color, so place one order per color; each has the 5-label minimum.
Plumbing label sets
Ready-made sets of the words this trade labels most, grouped by where they go. Each set opens in the builder with every label in place; add, remove or retype any of them before you order.
Repair Parts Bins labels
Magnetic plumbing truck bin labels for repair parts. The bins that cover most service calls: toilet, faucet and supply repairs. Label each one with the exact part so a fill valve or cartridge comes off the truck shelf on the first try and restocking is a quick read.

Pipe and Fittings labels
Magnetic pipe fitting drawer labels. Label the top level by material and the next by fitting type. PEX, copper, PVC and CPVC each get their own zone, so a restock in a hurry never drops a 1/2 inch elbow into the wrong material bin.

Drain Cleaning labels
Magnetic drain cleaning equipment labels. Drain work brings its own gear: cables, cutter heads, plugs and no-hub parts. Label the shelf or cabinet that holds it so the right head and test plug go out with the machine and come back to the same spot.

Water Heater Parts labels

Plumbing label questions
Do magnetic labels work on plastic fitting organizers?
No, magnets need steel. Use the 3M VHB adhesive backing option for plastic organizers and bin fronts, and magnets on steel shelving.
Can I include sizes like 1/2 or 3/4?
Yes. Labels like 1/2 PEX or 3/4 Copper fit easily. The builder checks every label against our 243mm width limit.
Will the labels survive getting wet?
Splashes and wet hands are fine. They are solid printed plastic with no paper or ink. Wipe them dry and do not leave them submerged.
How much does it cost to label a plumbing truck?
The first 5 labels are $13.99, then $2.00 for each extra label. 16 labels is $35.99 and 30 labels is $62.74, with free US shipping.
How long does a custom plumbing order take?
Labels are printed to order and ship from Oregon in 3 to 5 business days with free US shipping.
