A garage system the whole household can use
The best garage labels are written for the least organized person in the house. Use broad, obvious categories on bins and shelves (Camping, Sports, Seasonal, Lawn, Garden, Car Care) and save the detailed labels for the tool box (Screws, Nails, Hardware, Tape, Glue, Batteries). If the label is readable from the driveway, things get put back.
Holiday storage is where labels pay off most. Christmas and Halloween bins tend to migrate to the back of a shelf. A large label on the shelf edge, not just on the bin, tells you where they live before you start moving boxes.
Lay out shelves by how often you reach for things
Put the weekly items at eye level and label them first: Batteries, Light Bulbs, Cords, Car Care, Cleaning. Seasonal bins (Christmas, Halloween, Camping, Pool) go on the top shelf, and heavy or messy things like Paint, Lawn and Garden go near the floor where they are easy to lift and spills stay low. Keep Paint and anything flammable on its own labeled shelf, away from the sports gear the kids grab.
Two labels earn their spot in every garage. A Manuals bin collects the appliance and lawn mower paperwork plus the spare hardware that came with furniture. A Donate shelf near the door catches outgrown bikes and duplicate tools so they actually leave instead of drifting back into storage.
Magnets that move when your garage changes
Our exposed N52 magnets clip straight onto steel shelving uprights, metal cabinet doors and tool chests. When the bikes move to a different wall, the labels move with them. No scraping off old stickers and no residue on painted steel.
For plastic bins, wooden shelves and pegboard, choose the 3M VHB adhesive backing in the builder. Most people use magnets on steel shelving and cabinets, and VHB on the bins they never want to lose a label from. One caution: labels are PLA, which softens around 55 to 60C, so skip the inside of a garage door or a dark cabinet that sits in afternoon sun.
Labeling the home tool box
Whether it is a new rolling chest or the box you inherited, label each drawer by what goes in it, not by tool brand. A clean starting layout: Tools on top, then Screws, Nails, Hardware, Tape and Glue, with Zip Ties, Batteries and Spare Parts in the bottom drawer. If anyone in the house has trouble reading small print, pick the Hyperlegible font.

- Choose color and font. Workshop Red, Heritage Black or Cobalt Blue, with a live preview measured to the millimeter.
- We print and ship. Each set is 3D-printed to order in Oregon and ships in 3 to 5 business days, free in the US.
Pricing
The same price as our custom order page: $13.99 for the first 5 labels, $2.00 for each label after that, with a 5-label minimum. Big orders get cheaper: extra labels past 25 drop to $1.75 and past 50 to $1.50. There is no maximum order size. Magnets are included. Adhesive backing (3M VHB, for non-magnetic surfaces) is an optional add-on; its price is confirmed at order and is not included in the prices above.

Garage / Home label questions
Will these labels stick to garage shelving?
Steel shelving units, metal cabinets and tool chests are magnetic and work great. Plastic bins, wood shelves and resin shelving need the 3M VHB adhesive option.
Do the labels hold up to garage heat and cold?
They are fine in a typical attached garage. The labels are printed PLA, which can soften with sustained high heat, so avoid mounting them where direct summer sun bakes a dark surface.
Can I order a mix of my own words and a pre-made pack?
Yes. In the builder, start from a pack preset and then add, remove or change any word.
What is the minimum order?
5 labels for $13.99 with free US shipping, then $2.00 for each extra label, so 10 labels is $23.99. Extras drop to $1.75 each past label 25 and $1.50 each past label 50.
