Custom Salon & Barbershop Labels
A salon or barbershop is half workspace, half showroom. Our labels put heavy white lettering on Heritage Black, Workshop Red or Cobalt Blue, so stations stay organized and the color bar looks intentional instead of improvised.
How to label a barber or stylist station
Label station drawers by what your hands reach for first: Clippers, Trimmers, Guards, Blades, Shears, Razors and Combs, with a separate drawer for Neck Strips and Capes. When every chair follows the same order, a new barber or a booth renter covering a shift can work without asking where things are.
Numbered labels like Station 1 and Station 2 also help on a schedule board or on supply bins that belong to a particular chair. Clean, used and disinfect bins are worth labeling too, as a habit that keeps tools moving the right way between clients. Follow your state board rules for disinfection; the labels just make the routine visible.
Organizing the color bar
Most colorists arrange the bar by step: Lightener, Developer, Toners and glosses on the shelves, then Bowls, Brushes, Foils and Gloves within reach. Big shelf labels speed up mixing and make restocking obvious when a section runs low. Keep each label to one or two words; the Condensed font fits longer names like Bond Builder or Conditioner in a narrow shelf strip.
Black labels look sharp against white or wood shelving and suit most salon decor, while red or blue can mark a special section such as retail or a featured line. Each order prints in one color, so place one order per color.
Back room, backbar and retail stock
The back room is where clutter builds. Label shelves for Backbar sizes, Retail stock, Shampoo and Conditioner refills, Towels, Laundry and Overstock, and reordering becomes a quick look instead of a full count.
What surfaces do the labels stick to?
Exposed N52 magnets grip ferrous steel hard: steel rolling carts, metal shelving, tool cabinets and magnetic boards. Many salon stations are laminate, wood or glass, and aluminum trolleys and most stainless will not hold a magnet. For those choose the 3M VHB adhesive backing in the builder, an optional add-on (price confirmed at order) that is semi-permanent.
The labels are PLA plastic and soften around 55 to 60C, so keep them off hot tool holders, away from flat irons and curling irons, and out of direct heat from dryers or towel warmers. Wipe them with a damp cloth or mild cleaner, and test strong disinfectant on one label first.
Salon & Barbershop label sets
Ready-made sets of the words this trade labels most, grouped by where they go. Each set opens in the builder with every label in place; add, remove or retype any of them before you order.
Barber Station labels
Magnetic barber station labels. Labels for the drawers and steel tool tray at each barber chair. Clippers, guards, blades and shears each have a spot, so the station resets the same way after every cut and a fill-in barber finds everything.

Salon Color Bar labels
Magnetic salon color bar labels. Shelf and drawer labels for the color bar. Developer, lightener and toners stay in their own zones, and bowls, brushes and foils go back where the next stylist expects them, so the bar looks intentional to clients.

Salon & Barbershop label questions
Do magnetic labels stick to salon stations?
Only on ferrous steel such as metal carts and shelving. Wood, laminate, glass, aluminum and most stainless stations need the 3M VHB adhesive backing option.
Can I put labels near flat irons or a towel warmer?
Keep them clear. The labels are PLA plastic and soften around 55 to 60C, so they should stay away from hot tools, hot tool holders and warmers.
How do I clean the labels between clients?
Wipe them with a damp cloth or mild cleaner. They are not rated for soaking in disinfectant jars, so keep them on the station rather than in the barbicide.
What color looks best in a salon?
Heritage Black suits most salon and barbershop decor. Workshop Red or Cobalt Blue work well for marking one section, such as retail.
How fast do custom salon labels ship?
They are printed to order in Oregon and ship in 3 to 5 business days with free US shipping.
