Custom Tattoo Studio Labels
A tattoo station has to be fast to set up, easy to break down and obvious to anyone covering a shift. Our labels put heavy white lettering on Heritage Black, Workshop Red or Cobalt Blue, so supply carts, ink shelves and the setup counter stay in order and look like they belong in your shop.
How to label a tattoo station supply cart
Lay out the cart drawers in the order you set up: Barrier Film and Bags first, then Gloves, Ink Caps and Ointment, then Cartridges split into Liners, Shaders and Magnums, with Grips, Tips and Razors below. When every artist's cart follows the same order, a guest artist or an apprentice can restock any station without guessing.
Keep labels to one or two words so the lettering stays big. Block is bold and graphic, and Condensed fits longer words like Barrier Film or Cartridges on a narrow drawer face.
Organizing ink shelves by family
Group ink by family rather than by brand: Blacks, Greys, Reds, Yellows, Greens, Blues, Purples, Skin Tones and Whites. Artists can grab the right bottle mid-session, and low stock shows up as an empty space under a labeled section. Keep your lot numbers and expiration tracking on the bottles themselves as your health department requires; shelf labels are only a map.
Black labels disappear into most studio decor, while red or blue can flag a section such as a mixing area or stock for a specific artist. Each order prints in one color, so place one order per color; each has the 5-label minimum.
Making setup and breakdown visible
Labeling counter zones as Setup, Breakdown and Clean, with Sharps marked clearly near the container, reinforces the one-way flow your bloodborne pathogen training already teaches. Labels mark the zones; they do not replace the required sharps container or biohazard signage.
Will the magnets stick, and what about heat and cleaning?
Exposed N52 magnets grip ferrous steel hard: painted steel tool carts, steel shelving and magnetic boards. Most stainless trays and workstations are non-magnetic, and aluminum, wood, glass and plastic carts will not hold a magnet either. For those choose the 3M VHB adhesive backing in the builder, an optional add-on (price confirmed at order) that is semi-permanent.
The labels are PLA plastic and soften around 55 to 60C, so keep them away from any sterilizer, heat sources and windows in summer sun. They are not for sterilizing and should sit outside the barrier-covered work zone. Wipe them with a damp cloth or mild cleaner, and test your surface disinfectant on one label before using it on all of them.
Tattoo Studio label sets
Ready-made sets of the words this trade labels most, grouped by where they go. Each set opens in the builder with every label in place; add, remove or retype any of them before you order.
Tattoo Station Cart labels
Magnetic tattoo station cart labels. Drawer labels for the rolling supply cart at each station. Cartridges, ink caps, gloves and barrier film each get a drawer, so setup is fast and anyone covering a shift can restock the cart the same way.

Tattoo Studio label questions
Do magnetic labels stick to a tattoo cart?
Yes on painted steel tool carts and steel shelving. Stainless, aluminum and plastic carts usually do not hold a magnet, so choose the 3M VHB adhesive backing option for those.
Can I wipe the labels with surface disinfectant?
Wipe them with a damp cloth or mild cleaner, and test your disinfectant on one label first. They are not rated for soaking, so keep them outside the barrier-covered zone.
Can these labels go in an autoclave?
No. They are PLA plastic that softens around 55 to 60C, so they cannot be sterilized and should be kept away from sterilizers and other heat sources.
How should I organize tattoo ink shelves?
Group by color family, such as Blacks, Greys, Reds and Skin Tones, rather than by brand, so any artist can grab the right bottle quickly.
How fast do custom tattoo studio labels ship?
They are printed to order in Oregon and ship in 3 to 5 business days with free US shipping.
